minimalist ensemble is a 60-person orchestra founded in 2005, performing contemporary music with a specialism on American minimalist music. Composer Sir Peter Maxwell Davies is the Honorary Patron of this orchestra.
minimalist ensemble comprises mostly of musicians at the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This talented young orchestra has an exciting and busy concert schedule in top venues in London, Oxford and Vienna.
